Case Quinta Mourada, a lodging property located in Lourinhã, Portugal. The proposal for the accommodation, a small country house with a vineyard 2 km from the beach, is to create a welcoming space with the owner providing personalized experiences, allowing guests to reconnect with their inner selves and explore the culture, cuisine and nature of the farm and the region at a slower pace of life geared towards the individual's integral well-being.
The name Quinta Mourada alludes to the address - residence, to the Moorish women - fantastic beings from Portuguese folklore, and also to the owner's surname, Moura. The project's visual identity and brand are inspired by Portuguese tiles and designs from the Aveiro region, and reinforce the values of preserving local aesthetics and traditions.
The logo uses the central figure of a woman or Moor, and the visual elements of earth, grapes, wheat, plants and the sun as the ultimate symbol of nature and life. All the designs are original to the project, and emphasize authenticity, craftsmanship, art and expressiveness as fundamental concepts of the Quinta's hosting philosophy.
